Club Car DS IFS Bracket Kit for Double A Arm Lift Kits (Shocks Sold Separately)
Our Independent Front Suspension (IFS) Bracket Kit allows you to retrofit your current double a-arm lift setup to accept aftermarket 320mm shocks (Not Included), converting your crude mono-leaf front end into a true IFS setup. The result? Dramatically improved ride quality and overall comfort.
Kit Includes:
- (3) IFS Brackets – Laser cut matte black powder coated brackets
- (4) Zinc coated precision steel bushings (custom to fit your specific kit)
- (2) Black anodized aluminum spacers (not reflected in current photos)
- Grade 8 Zinc-Coated Hardware Kit
Kit does not include:
- 13/32" Drill bit - Necessary for putting in 2 additional mounting holes/opening up a arm mounting bracket
- Brace Kit - For carts that take a beating. This kit ties all three shock brackets together to greatly increase front-end rigidity. Perfect for aggressive riders who demand more from their suspension. Brace kit Includes:
- (2) Matte black powder-coated braces
- (1) Black annodized aluminum spacer
- (1) 3/8-16 Bolt

Shocks (320mm length) are not included and must be purchased separately.
The bushings included in the IFS Bracket Kit are specifically designed to fit the 320mm aftermarket shocks linked here. The bushings in the kit are manufactured to match the exact dimensions of those shocks to ensure a proper fit. Buying other brand shocks could effect the function of the assembly. Use the link below to insure you get the right shocks.

Made my 97 DS ride like a Cadillac! It’s so smooth now and I would highly recommend it to anyone with a club car ds! Death to leaf springs!!!
Night and day difference! Modernized the suspension and got rid of the aweful leaf spring. Also nice to be able to dial it to suit my liking. Installation was straight forward with just hand tools, floor jack and drill.
I’m very happy overall with the LL Fab Co front coilovers. The ride quality is excellent — even at around 25 mph on mild rough off-road terrain like roadside ditches and uneven ground, they soak up bumps really well and feel very controlled. They made a huge improvement in comfort and stability compared to stock.
The only issue I ran into was that my cross tie rod (connecting the spindles) would make contact when launching the cart or hitting bumps at higher speeds on pavement. This caused noticeable bump steer. I ended up installing a limiting strap to prevent the suspension from traveling far enough to make contact with the frame.
Once I added the strap, the problem was completely solved. Now I can comfortably run about 30 mph in my cart without even needing to hold the steering wheel tightly — it tracks straight and feels very stable.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with the performance and build quality. Just be aware that depending on your setup, you may need to address clearance or travel limits.
